Biserka Ivanovic - |
Is born in Split. Biserka’s main area of expertise is gender
with experience trainings for Kosovo Serb municipal assembly
officials on gender issues, applicable legislation in Kosovo
explaining needs for the establishment of Gender Equality
Committees on the political level in respective municipalities.
She also worked on research with women activists for Prishtina
Gender Studies Centre publication about women’s movement in
Kosovo from 80’s.

Is from Prizren and her main working areas are: Return &
Repatriation of internally displaced persons from Serbia,
Montenegro & Macedonia with Danish Refugee Council. She worked
as manager of the NGO Women and Children Rights in Prizren. She
also worked for German NGO ASB as Social Mobilization Officer.

Is from Peja. Gjylfidane serves as field officer for Danish
Refugee Council where she is responsible to implement and
support the activities in the field as well as monitoring the
processes, ensuring that the process of empowerment among the
beneficiaries took place. Gjylfidane without any doubt
transmitted the process of program towards the establishment of
the independent Kosovo Housewife Association.

Lives in Prishtina. Justina is a professor in Prishtian
University, Faculty of Econoics. She worked as Head of
Mathematics and Statistics Departmetn at Economics Faculty at
Prishtina, Head of Board of Directors with Kosovo Civil Society
Fund (KCSF)and lectured on Health Management;
Justina recently is chosen a Minister of Energy and Mining.

issues while she serves as Lecturer “Gender studies” and “Nation
and Nationalism” in the Faculty of Sociology and Philosophy of
Prishtina University

Is from Prishtina. Luljeta’s in the legal office of Special
Representative of Secretary General (SRSG) with UNMIK. She
earned MA for faculty of Philology, Prishtina University. She is

Journal. Luljeta is trained on gender related issues.

and translation services, protocol, administration and customer
service, training management, training coordination, project and
event management, marketing, training material preparation,

Mirlinda Kusari - |
Is from Gjakova. Mirlinda’s areas of expertise include: Economic
empowerment of women in Kosova. She is known for leading first
and major study into activities of women entrepreneurs in Kosovo
in 2006. Mirlinda also has two Publications in her professional
engagement first was “Gender Budget Analysis and the Impact of
Fiscal Policies on the Poverty Level of Rural Women in the
Municipality of Gjakova” and second being “Study and Research of
Kosovo Women Entrepreneurs”.

Is from Gjakova. Nesrete’s areas of expertise include:
Professional Psychosocial and Expert on trauma. Nesrete possess
other skills such as management and coordination skills and
excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. She also
did professional trainings on treating war trauma with local
NGOs from the village of Gllogjan in Gjakova municipality, it is
known as mostly affected village in Dukagjini area.

Nita Luci - |
Is from Prishtina. Nita’s areas of expertise include:
Anthropology, European Studies and Political Science, especially
gender related issues. Nita did researches, attended many
conferences and seminars where all her knowledge gained either
academically or through informal education she managed to
utilize it and transform them in a very applicable way in her
every day work and life. Nita currently lectures in the Faculty
of Philosophy in University of Prishtina and Faik Konica,
Journalism School in Prishtina. Nita also taught in the
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, Department of Anthropology as
Primary Instructor

Is from Prishtina.Violeta’s areas of interest include:
Coordinating catch-up class program Kosovo wide, Helping Roma,
Ashkalija and Egyptian (RAE) children in Kosovo who have not
completed their primary school and Working in close cooperation
with OMiK Democratization Department to support the Ministry of
Education, Science and Technology (MEST).

Prevention and Recovery Practice Workshop; Professional training

Television 21 in Prishtina. Xheralinda is known throughout
Kosovo as an expert on gender and media, Co-training on Why

facilitate/ moderate etc. Xheralinda is known throughout Kosovo
as an expert on gender and media, therefore she has been listed
in our gender expert.
